What an eclectic group of ornaments today! I love the reindeer. Click here to get information on each of the oenaments and don’t forget to check back tomorrow for day 7.
First of all, I want to thank Erlene of My Pinterventures for ALL of her efforts and time in coordinating this wonderful (and large) ornament exchange! Thank You Thank You Thank You Erlene!!!!!
I have to apologize for being behind so I am posting the first five days of groups together in one post. I am already blown away by the ornaments this year! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do and I hope you take a moment or two to visit some of the blogs and compliment the participants on their work — or on their choice if their ornament was purchased. And please come back every day to see all of the other wonderful creations and selections to come. There are over 80 crafters/bloggers participating and that promises to provide a wide variety of ornaments with something to pique everyone’s interest! Click here to go to Erlene’s blog for links to all of the blogs for information on each ornament. Most are made and some are purchase but all of the information is provided so you can follow the tutorials or go on a shopping spree!.
Don’t forget, go to Erlene’s My Pinterventures to get links to all of the blogs for tutorials and/or shopping lists to make or purchase your own ornaments. And please come back tomorrow for day 6!
I am so excited and I am having so much fun already! The swap is also a blog hop to take place next month. There are a total of 84 participants so this is going to be great – I can’t wait to see all of the ornaments created or purchased.
This is just a sneak peek at my project and I am not even going to tell you what the final object will be — here are just some of the parts and pieces. Any guesses?
Thankfully I have learned to listen to my mother who suggested I make two so I get to keep one for myself — well, it is coming out so nice so far, I am thrilled that I will have one for my own. But, now I have run into a problem …….
I have three fabulous color choices!! How do I chose? Help!!! Any votes? Blue, white or red? Now that sounds patriotic, (especially with the stars above) but this is not a patriotic ornament I assure you. Help me out everyone. Leave a comment below with your two color choices. The two with the most votes wins. And watch for further posts for my completed ornament with complete instructions and the ultimate blog hop in November with all 84 participants and their ornaments and instructions on how to make the ornament or where to purchase the completed ornament. So stay tuned!
Ding ding ding – the class bell is ringing!! I believe I have this done right now. Classes have been scheduled and you can sign up and pay in Meetup.com. Join my group Crafting with Paper and Jeanette and you can see the current schedule and be advised of new classes, workshops and events as scheduled. You must register and pay for classes so I can properly prepare. Please note I currently have a special going **If you bring a guest, your next class/workshop will be free**. Please note space is limited so register early.
I am so excited to get this going into some kind of regular classes and I want it open to all ideas a voices so if you have any ideas, please feel free to contact me. Is there a special type of card you want to do? Or a type of stamping? Or some type of holiday project? Is there a day or time of the week that is better/best for you to meet? Do you have a group that wants to meet at your home? I can put together a traveling workshop if that works best for you – just let me know. I am also able to do classes for younger crafters so let me know if you have children with the desire to participate.
**I wanted to let you know Meetup uses WePay (as apposed to PayPal) and I did a little research on it and found that they are about 5 years old and offer the same protections as PayPal and fees are about the same and there were really no exceptional negative issues — there were basically the expected amount of complaints for a company of their size and they are rated “A” with the BBB so bottom line is: I feel comfortable using them to process payments.
One of the other things I enjoy is Art Journaling (though I have only just bought my first book and created my first real page). I love checking them out on Pinterest and YouTube. I have found this fabulous lady that I love to watch and have learned so much from – Vicky Papaioannnou – and I just have to share her with you. Her Halloween page is just so stinking cute, I can’t stand it. I hope you enjoy as much as I do.
Can’t visit me to make an order? Visit my website and place an order now – I am hosting an on-line book party through October 8th. So head on over and check out our Annual and Holiday Catalogs for some great items and package deals. Don’t forget to check out our weekly specials and clearance items on the left hand side of the page for some great deals and prices.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me should you have any questions or problems – I am here to help you with anything you need. Please be sure your order form has my name at the top so I get credit and so I can assist you if there are any problems or issues. Don’t forget, orders close out on October 8th.
Thank you and Happy Shopping! http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/stampinwithjeanette
